This is the best points replacement ignition available for the stock VW distributor. We use these kits in our personal VW's and they perform flawlessly and have a near-zero failure rate. Yes, they cost a bit more than the magnetic points replacements, but the extra cost can be worth it in terms of relaibility and durability. An excellent product.
