Rear Brake Shoes '74-'79 Bus

Brake shoe set for 1974 - 1979 Bus (set of 4). These shoes have correct location and size of brake spring holes, some recent production '74-'79 Bus shoes are made with the wrong carrier plate which makes installation very difficult, these shoes are correct. Please verify whether the emergency brake lever on your old shoes is permanently riveted to your old shoes, or held on with a pin and horseshoe clip. If your old shoes have a permanent rivet holding the lever, you will also need to order the handbrake lever mounting kit or a rear brake hardware kit, see link below in related products.

These shoes fit: Some '73-'79 Bus rear shoes are being sold that do not fit because they are manufactured on a Vanagon metal carrier, which is close but not exactly the same. These are correct.
