Windshield Wiper Motor Retrofit Kit Bus '74-'79

Wiper motor retrofit kit for Bus '74-'79. This is a new wiper motor - originally used for another VW vehicle - in a retrofit kit for Bus '74-'79. The wiper motor has the same form factor as the Bus motor but uses a different wiring connector. The retrofit kit contains new motor, special wiring pigtail, and instruction sheet. Must use plastic wiring connector from original Bus motor as specified in instructions. Includes support bracket with grommet.

Choose optional Hardware Kit if you want to replace the grommets in the body as well as the wiper caps and other associated hardware. Note that our hardware kit uses a lot of genuine parts instead of the crummy reproduction wiper shaft and wiper arm caps that are currently available in the aftermarket.

If you already have the Vanagon wiper motor you can order just the installation kit that includes a laser cut bracket to adapt the motor to the Bus installation, the wiring pigtail and the instruction sheet. NOTE: wiring piugtail does not include the housing the is attached to the stock Bus wiper motor.
