Type 4 Oil Pump Kit 26mm Gears

This is a complete kit to install a high quality Schadek Type 1 oil pump modified for use in a Type 4 engine. Includes laser cut aluminum spacer to permit clearance between pump body and type 4 cam gear hardware. Kit contains oil pump, extra long oil pump studs (not shown in photo), oil pump nuts and genuine VW stamped steel oil pump cover clearanced for type 4 application. Specify if you want the pump cover blueprinted. Stock covers are heavy duty but may not be as smooth as some builders will want. Blueprinted cover is honed flatter and is smoother than factory supplied part. We recommend Loctite 518 and no gaskets between case and pump and cover. If you are using an aftermarket camshaft with screw-on cam gear, you must use only correctly clearanced head screws, and you must also check for clearance between the cam gear screw heads and the pump body.
